AMD Adrenalin 26.10.1 Adds FSR 4.1 and Modern Warfare 4 Support
AMD has released its Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1 graphics driver, introducing AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 support for additional Radeon GPUs and Ryzen processors while adding optimizations for three upcoming PC games.
According to the official AMD Adrenalin 26.10.1 release notes, the update expands FSR 4.1 compatibility to Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards, alongside Ryzen AI Max 300, Ryzen AI Max 400, Ryzen AI 9 300, and Ryzen AI 9 400 processors.
The driver also introduces game support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, and FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE.
One of the main fixes targets stuttering in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, addressing an issue affecting Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards and newer models.
However, AMD has identified several problems that remain unresolved.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced may experience intermittent crashes or driver timeouts on Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, while War Thunder can encounter driver timeouts on RX 5000 models. AMD recommends Adrenalin 26.9.1 for users affected by the latter issue.
Additional known problems include potential crashes in Valor Mortis, alongside issues involving FSR in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Cyberpunk 2077 on certain RX 9000 GPUs.
The new driver supports compatible graphics hardware running Windows 10 and Windows 11, although availability and features vary by product.
Players can check supported hardware and installation details through AMD's official driver download page.
