Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Gets New Game Plus Next Week

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is set to receive its highly requested New Game Plus mode next week, according to a newly circulated announcement attributed to Ubisoft.

The upcoming update is expected to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, giving players another opportunity to experience Edward Kenway's pirate adventure after completing the main campaign.

New Game Plus was previously confirmed in July 2026, shortly after the remake launched. At the time, game director Richard Knight explained that the development team was actively working on the feature but could not provide a release date.

The new announcement suggests that the wait is nearly over, although Ubisoft has not yet published a detailed update schedule or complete patch notes in the official sources reviewed.

New Game Plus typically allows players to restart a game's story while retaining selected progression elements. However, the exact weapons, ship upgrades, outfits, and resources that will carry over in Black Flag Resynced have not been fully detailed.

The remake originally launched on July 9, 2026, introducing enhanced visuals, updated combat, improved naval gameplay, and additional content.

According to Ubisoft's official sales announcement, Black Flag Resynced sold more than three million copies during its first week.

The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Further details about New Game Plus progression and any accompanying gameplay fixes are expected when Ubisoft publishes the update's official release notes.
