Bloodborne PC Port v0.7.2 Adds Live 120 FPS Switching
Bloodborne's unofficial native Windows port has received version 0.7.2, introducing real-time frame rate switching and fixes targeting physics problems, crashes, and graphics stability.
Released on October 28, 2026, by developer Mrsuss60, the update allows players to change their frame rate target between 30, 60, 90, 120 FPS, and uncapped mode without restarting the game.
According to the official GitHub release notes, the feature replaces static frame rate patches with a dynamic engine clock hook and delta-time scaling system.
The developer has also addressed several problems associated with running Bloodborne above its original 30 FPS target. These include collision issues on moving platforms, unstable cloth simulation, visual stretching, and inconsistent jumping or attack timing.
A new safeguard automatically disables older frame rate modifications that could conflict with the live switching system.
Beyond performance controls, version 0.7.2 expands crash protection across European, Asian, and Japanese game releases. Additional fixes target Vulkan driver crashes, inventory texture loading freezes, and unsupported compressed texture formats.
The port supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 with Vulkan 1.3-compatible graphics hardware. It requires legally obtained Bloodborne PS4 game files and does not include the copyrighted game assets.
Although the new settings offer a 120 FPS target and uncapped mode, actual performance depends on the computer's hardware and game conditions. The developer still recommends limiting the frame rate to 60 FPS when higher settings cause instability.
This remains an unofficial community project rather than an official Bloodborne PC release from Sony or FromSoftware.
