Captain Price Actor Thanks Fans for Modern Warfare 4 Praise

Barry Sloane, the actor behind Captain Price in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, has thanked fans for their positive reactions to the game's campaign while urging players to avoid sharing story spoilers ahead of its full release.

The message comes after Modern Warfare 4's single-player campaign became available through early access on October 16, 2026, giving eligible digital preorder customers the opportunity to experience the story before the official launch.

Sloane shared his appreciation through his Instagram account, acknowledging the supportive messages he had received following the campaign's debut.

The actor also encouraged players to respect those who have not yet completed the story, asking fans to avoid revealing important plot developments and allow others to experience the campaign at their own pace.

Early player reactions have been largely positive, with Modern Warfare 4 receiving a "Very Positive" user review rating on Steam. Several players have praised the campaign's storytelling, character performances, and memorable missions.

Sloane's performance as Captain John Price has also attracted attention, particularly as the new installment continues the storyline established in the rebooted Modern Warfare series.

According to an official Call of Duty announcement, the campaign includes 16 missions spanning the Korean Peninsula, Paris, New York, and Mumbai.

The story follows South Korean soldier Park Hyun Jun and his squad during a major invasion, while Captain Price pursues a separate mission connected to the wider conflict.

Modern Warfare 4's DMZ early access begins on October 20, followed by the full game launch on October 23 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
