Clash Royale Board Game Reaches $25,000 Goal in Under an Hour
Clash Royale: The Grand Arena, a new tabletop adaptation of Supercell's popular mobile strategy game, has surpassed its $25,000 Kickstarter funding goal in less than an hour after the campaign launched on October 20, 2026.
Developed by Maestro Media in collaboration with Supercell, the Clash Royale board game brings familiar characters, card battles, and tower-based combat into a physical tabletop experience.
According to the official Kickstarter campaign, the project quickly attracted hundreds of supporters and exceeded its initial funding target. The campaign remains open until November 13, 2026.
The base version, called the Core Edition, is available through a $49 pledge, while additional tiers offer expansions and other accessories. The campaign currently lists an estimated delivery date of August 2027.
Clash Royale: The Grand Arena supports two to four players, with each participant building an eight-card deck around a chosen Champion.
Battles take place across two lanes, where players spend Elixir to deploy cards, attack opposing towers, and defend their own structures. Destroying enemy towers earns Crowns, while taking down a King's Tower can secure an immediate victory.
Unlike the mobile game, the tabletop adaptation uses turn-based gameplay, allowing players to make strategic decisions without real-time controls.
The project follows Maestro Media's previous collaboration with Supercell on Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid, which raised more than $500,000 through Kickstarter.
The rapid funding milestone indicates strong early interest in bringing Clash Royale's competitive gameplay beyond mobile devices.
