Control Resonant Wins PlayStation Players' Choice for September

Remedy Entertainment's Control Resonant has been voted the best new PlayStation game of September 2026, winning Sony's monthly Players' Choice poll.

The result was announced on the official PlayStation Blog, confirming that Control Resonant received the most votes from participating players.

The game faced competition from several major September releases, including Marvel's Wolverine, Dune: Awakening, EA Sports FC 27, Silent Hill: Townfall, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Unlike traditional gaming awards determined by critics or industry judges, PlayStation's Players' Choice is decided entirely through community voting. Participants are encouraged to select the new release they would most strongly recommend to a friend.

The announcement comes shortly before the arrival of Control Resonant's physical editions, scheduled for October 15, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

According to Remedy Entertainment's official announcement, the standard physical edition costs $59.99 and includes the complete game on disc.

A SteelBook Edition will also be available for $69.99, featuring a specially designed metal case, three collectible art prints, and a poster displaying the game's key artwork.

Both editions offer another option for players who prefer collecting physical copies rather than purchasing games digitally.

Control Resonant originally launched digitally on September 24, 2026, and its latest Players' Choice victory highlights the positive reception it has received from PlayStation's voting community.
