Counter-Strike 2 Recreation Brings CS2 Gameplay to Roblox
A fan-made Counter-Strike 2 recreation has appeared on Roblox, bringing a familiar first-person shooter experience to the platform through a project developed by creator Acetul.
The experience, titled just a passion project, is published under the TAKEOFF INTERACTIVE group and was created as an experiment exploring what the Roblox Engine can achieve.
According to its official Roblox experience page, the project is independently developed and inspired by Valve's Counter-Strike 2. It is not an official release or an authorized port of the original PC game.
The recreation includes familiar shooter controls, with keyboard inputs for movement, crouching, walking, jumping, and reloading. Players can also use dedicated controls for shooting, interacting with objects, and dropping weapons.
A recent update introduced experimental controller support, including aim assist, expanding the available input options beyond traditional keyboard and mouse controls.
The developer describes the experience as a noncommercial project intended for entertainment and educational purposes. Its Roblox listing also acknowledges Valve's ownership of the Counter-Strike franchise and associated assets.
Although the recreation resembles Counter-Strike 2, there is currently no verified evidence that the original game's engine or executable code has been fully ported into Roblox.
Instead, the project demonstrates how developers can reproduce elements of an established PC shooter within Roblox's own engine.
The experience remains an unofficial community creation, and its available features, compatibility, and long-term availability may change as development continues.
