Cronos: Lazarus DLC Gets December 3 Release Date and Trailer

Bloober Team has confirmed that Cronos: Lazarus, the upcoming story expansion for Cronos: The New Dawn, will launch on December 3, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The announcement arrived on October 28 alongside a new story trailer revealing more about the expansion's central conflict. The DLC will cost $9.99, while its Nintendo Switch 2 release is planned for the first quarter of 2027.

According to the official announcement published by Bandai Namco, Lazarus takes place before the events of the original game and explores the transformation of the Pathfinder into the Warden.

Once a loyal agent of the Collective, the Pathfinder breaks away from the organization to pursue a secret mission involving the revival of a lost Essence.

The Collective responds by deploying the Tracker, a relentless enemy tasked with hunting him down before he can complete his objective.

Unlike the more deliberate survival-focused combat of Cronos: The New Dawn, the expansion introduces faster movement and more aggressive encounters.

Players will gain access to teleportation for repositioning during combat, alongside a decoy ability that distracts enemies and briefly makes the Pathfinder invisible.

A new weapon called the Gladius also joins the arsenal, offering a faster alternative to the original game's dagger.

Bloober Team previously showcased these mechanics in gameplay demonstrations, but the latest trailer establishes the expansion's release schedule.

Cronos: Lazarus requires the original game and remains a separate story expansion rather than a standalone release.
