Dead by Daylight Terrifier Adds Art the Clown and New Map

Behaviour Interactive has revealed the full details of Dead by Daylight's upcoming Terrifier Chapter, introducing Art the Clown as a playable Killer, Sienna Shaw as a Survivor, and a new map called The Hartshorne Mall.

The crossover is currently available through the Steam Public Test Build, with its full release scheduled for November 24, 2026.

According to the official Dead by Daylight announcement, Art the Clown uses a unique power called Bag of Toys, allowing him to draw random weapons from his trash bag.

His equipment includes a flail, flamethrower, firearm, acid-filled bottle, and bicycle horn. Successful attacks increase the weapons' effectiveness, eventually unlocking special finishing animations known as Mini-Moris.

Art also receives three unique perks: Funny Business, Kill Spree, and Laughingstock. These abilities introduce unpredictable generator interactions, additional elimination opportunities, and status effects that interfere with Survivors.

Sienna Shaw joins the roster with three perks of her own. Best Gift Ever rewards item management, Shared Trauma helps nearby Survivors recover from Exhaustion, and Valkyrie's Rage strengthens pallet stuns after a chase.

The update also introduces The Hartshorne Mall, an abandoned shopping center featuring empty storefronts, unsettling corridors, and environmental storytelling connected to Dwight Fairfield.

Behaviour Interactive designed the location around the community's longstanding interest in liminal spaces, creating a setting distinct from the game's existing outdoor environments.

The Terrifier Chapter will launch across Dead by Daylight's supported PC and console platforms on November 24, following the current testing period.
