Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Reportedly Cracked by Voices38

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 has reportedly become the latest PC game targeted by an unofficial Denuvo bypass, with reports claiming that a release associated with Voices38 has appeared online.

According to the circulating information, the alleged release targets version 2.01 of the game and is intended to bypass its Denuvo and Steam protection systems.

However, the reported bypass has not been independently verified, and there has been no official confirmation from publisher SEGA or developer CyberConnect2.

The claims emerged alongside a separate release attributed to Voices38 for the original Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. A community release discussion on Reddit appeared on October 18, listing a 24.2 GB release for the first game.

The two developments have attracted attention among PC gaming communities following ongoing discussions about Denuvo anti-tamper technology.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 was developed by CyberConnect2 and released on Steam on August 5, 2025.

According to the game's official Steam page, the PC version continues to list Denuvo Anti-tamper as a third-party DRM system.

The sequel follows Tanjiro Kamado through the Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village, and Hashira Training story arcs. It also features a competitive VS Mode with more than 40 playable characters, including all nine Hashira.

An unofficial bypass would not mean that Denuvo has been removed from the game's official PC release.

SEGA has not announced any changes to the game's DRM protection in response to the reported development.
