DERELIKT Launches November 13 on PC, PS5 and Xbox to Follow

DERELIKT, an upcoming retro-inspired sci-fi horror shooter, will launch on PC via Steam on November 13, 2026, publisher Hyperstrange and developer Visuwyg have announced.

The first-person game combines classic PlayStation-era visuals with survival horror mechanics, taking players to an isolated research facility orbiting Saturn.

According to the official DERELIKT Steam page, the story takes place at Von Neuman Outpost, a research station built around a mysterious abandoned asteroid.

Players must explore dark corridors, investigate the station's secrets, and survive encounters with dangerous creatures while managing limited resources.

DERELIKT draws inspiration from classic games such as System Shock 2, Alien Resurrection, and Doom 3, combining atmospheric exploration with first-person combat and environmental puzzles.

The game features an inventory management system, multiple weapons, and more than a dozen non-playable characters with their own dialogue.

Its visual presentation recreates the appearance of late-1990s PlayStation games, including low-poly environments, retro texture effects, and pre-rendered cinematic sequences.

Despite its nostalgic appearance, DERELIKT is designed around modern controls and gameplay features.

Players will also encounter a variety of locations throughout the research station, with exploration and progression connected through interconnected areas.

Hyperstrange and Visuwyg previously released a free playable demo on Steam on October 8, allowing PC players to experience part of the game ahead of launch.

The developers have also confirmed plans to bring DERELIKT to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S following the PC release, although specific console launch dates have not been announced.

DERELIKT is scheduled to arrive on Steam on November 13, 2026, offering a new sci-fi horror adventure inspired by some of the genre's most recognizable classics.
