Dispatch Surpasses 5 Million Players on First Anniversary

Dispatch has surpassed five million players worldwide, developer AdHoc Studio announced on October 22, 2026, marking the first anniversary of its superhero adventure game's release.

The milestone was revealed in an official anniversary announcement from AdHoc Studio, alongside several new features, merchandise releases, and upcoming events celebrating the game's success.

Originally released on October 22, 2025, Dispatch quickly became a commercial success for the independent studio founded by former Telltale Games developers.

The game sold more than one million copies within its first ten days and exceeded three million sales by the beginning of 2026.

By March 2026, reported sales had reached four million copies. However, the latest anniversary announcement specifically confirms more than five million players rather than providing an updated sales total.

To celebrate the milestone, AdHoc Studio has introduced Commentary Mode and Storyboard Mode for Digital Deluxe Edition owners.

Commentary Mode includes more than 16 hours of behind-the-scenes audio featuring the game's developers and voice actors, while Storyboard Mode allows players to experience scenes using their original animatics.

The studio also confirmed that Dispatch will launch on Android and iOS on December 9, 2026.

The first four episodes will be available for free, with the complete eight-episode experience unlockable for $19.99.

Additional anniversary celebrations include a live soundtrack concert in Los Angeles on December 3, collectible merchandise, and a hardcover behind-the-scenes book planned for 2027.

Dispatch follows Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, as he manages a team of unconventional superheroes while navigating personal relationships and difficult decisions.
