Enchanted Arms PC Port Released With Native 60 FPS Support

Enchanted Arms, FromSoftware's Xbox 360 role-playing game, has received an unofficial native PC port that brings the 2006 JRPG to Windows with 60 FPS support, higher rendering resolutions, and customizable controls.

The project, called EnchantedArmsPC, was developed by IAndrewJJ using static recompilation technology. Rather than running the game through a traditional Xbox 360 emulator, it converts the original console code into a Windows-compatible build.

According to the developer's official GitHub repository, version 0.5.5 is available with a dedicated launcher that handles game setup, graphics configuration, and updates.

Players can switch between 30 and 60 FPS, increase the rendering resolution, apply image sharpening, and adjust anti-aliasing. Keyboard and mouse controls are supported alongside controllers, with options for button mapping and camera settings.

The developer also shared early testing results on Reddit, reporting approximately three and a half hours of gameplay with few issues. According to those tests, the 60 FPS mode runs without accelerating the game's original speed.

However, the port remains a work in progress. Saving, loading, menus, and early gameplay have been tested, but a complete playthrough has not been verified. Some characters may appear invisible or display incorrect shading, while occasional stuttering remains possible.

EnchantedArmsPC requires Windows 10 or 11, approximately 20GB of additional storage, and a personally obtained Xbox 360 game ISO from a supported US or European release.

The project is not affiliated with FromSoftware or the game's original publishers.
