Football Manager 27 Will Be Free to Play for Five Days
Football Manager 27 will be free to play for five days before its official release, giving PC and Mac players an opportunity to experience the upcoming football management simulator without purchasing the game.
Developer Sports Interactive has confirmed that the Football Manager 27 free trial will begin on October 29 at 6 PM GMT and end on November 3 at the same time.
According to the official Football Manager announcement, the Launch Preview will be available through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can also participate.
Players will not need to register separately, and all game modes will be accessible throughout the five-day period.
Unlike a traditional limited demo, the Launch Preview allows players to start a full managerial career. Any saved progress can be transferred to the complete game when it launches on November 10.
Football Manager 27 introduces a redesigned interface with simpler navigation, improvements to the match engine, and additional tactical options. Dynamic weather, updated crowd behavior, and improved lighting are also intended to make matches more immersive.
Pre-purchases will open alongside the free trial on October 29. Players purchasing through SEGA-approved digital retailers will receive a 10% discount on the standard $59.99 price.
Those who pre-purchase can continue playing after the free period ends on November 3, while eligible Game Pass subscribers can maintain access through their subscriptions.
Sports Interactive also notes that some club and player assets may be missing from the preview while licensing approvals remain incomplete.
