Fortnite Announces Obsession Horror Movie Crossover

Epic Games has officially revealed a new Fortnite crossover with the 2026 horror movie Obsession, confirming that the collaboration will arrive on October 21 as part of this year's Fortnitemares celebrations.

The announcement was shared through a short teaser on Fortnite's official X account, featuring the mysterious One Wish Willow from the film.

The eight-second video includes a videotape, a shadowy female figure, and a Halloween pumpkin, offering a brief glimpse of the upcoming collaboration without revealing its complete contents.

Obsession was previously featured in Fortnite's Fortnitemares 2026 cinematic trailer, where the One Wish Willow appeared during the closing moments.

The latest teaser provides a specific release date, confirming that the crossover will arrive on October 21.

Directed by Curry Barker, Obsession follows Bear, a young man who uses a mysterious object to make his longtime friend Nikki fall in love with him. However, the wish leads to increasingly disturbing consequences.

The film stars Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette, with Navarrette portraying Nikki.

Although the collaboration has been confirmed, Epic Games has not officially revealed the complete selection of cosmetic items or their prices.

Some players expect Nikki to appear as a playable outfit, but the character's inclusion has not yet been formally detailed in the announcement.

The Obsession crossover joins several horror-themed collaborations featured during Fortnitemares 2026, including Five Nights at Freddy's, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, and Slender Man.

Additional details about the Obsession cosmetics are expected as the October 21 release approaches.
