Golden Joystick Awards 2026 PC and Console Nominees Revealed

The Golden Joystick Awards 2026 has confirmed its nominees for PC Game of the Year and Console Game of the Year, with major titles including Resident Evil Requiem, Crimson Desert, Forza Horizon 6, and Saros competing for recognition.

The 44th annual ceremony will take place in London on November 11, 2026, while public voting for the main categories remains open until October 23.

According to the official Golden Joystick Awards voting page, ten games have been shortlisted for each platform category.

The PC Game of the Year nominees are Big Walk, Crimson Desert, Escape from Tarkov, Esoteric Ebb, MECCHA CHAMELEON, Mewgenics, Order of the Sinking Star, STAR WARS Zero Company, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Valheim.

Meanwhile, Console Game of the Year features 007 First Light, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, Forza Horizon 6, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Nioh 3, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Pokémon Pokopia, PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem, and Saros.

Big Walk and 007 First Light are among the most prominent contenders, each appearing in five categories, including their respective platform awards.

Resident Evil Requiem has also secured multiple nominations, including Console Game of the Year and Best Game Trailer.

Unlike awards decided entirely by industry judges, most Golden Joystick Awards winners are selected through public voting.

The organizers will reveal the Ultimate Game of the Year shortlist on October 26, with voting for that category continuing until October 30.

Winners will be announced during the November 11 ceremony in London, where the year's most celebrated PC and console games will compete for their respective awards.
