GTA 5 Actors Share Advice for GTA 6's Jason and Lucia

The actors behind Grand Theft Auto 5's three protagonists have offered advice to the performers taking on Jason and Lucia in GTA 6, encouraging them to trust Rockstar Games and prepare for years of attention from fans.

Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno and Steven Ogg, who portrayed Michael, Franklin and Trevor, joined GTA: San Andreas actor Young Maylay during MCM Comic Con in London.

The reunion took place on October 24, 2026, as confirmed by the official MCM Comic Con event programme. Their advice was subsequently reported from an interview conducted by All Out Gaming.

Luke encouraged the incoming actors to enjoy the experience and genuinely appreciate the fans who support the franchise. Fonteno, meanwhile, emphasized the importance of following Rockstar's direction, drawing on his own experience working with the studio.

Young Maylay, who portrayed Carl Johnson in GTA: San Andreas, warned that the recognition associated with a Grand Theft Auto protagonist can continue for decades.

He recalled meeting fans who still identify him with CJ more than 20 years after the game's original release. For Maylay, the relationship between performers and players can extend well beyond a game's launch.

Fonteno similarly suggested that the actors behind GTA 6's protagonists should expect a lasting connection with the franchise and its audience.

Despite growing speculation surrounding the casting of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, Rockstar Games has not publicly confirmed the performers behind either character.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
