GTA 6 Will Feature Hundreds of Enterable Interiors

Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature hundreds of explorable interiors, according to recent reports based on gameplay demonstrations and conversations with Rockstar Games developers.

The upcoming open-world game aims to make Vice City and the surrounding state of Leonida more interactive by allowing players to enter a wide variety of buildings.

During a gameplay demonstration, Rockstar's head of development, Rob Nelson, showcased several indoor locations, including a gym, a bank, and businesses that players can explore.

These locations are designed to support gameplay activities rather than simply serving as decorative environments.

For example, players may be able to examine certain locations before attempting robberies, adding another layer of planning and interaction to the open world.

Reports have suggested that GTA 6 could feature hundreds of accessible interiors, although Rockstar has not published a precise total.

Earlier rumors claimed that approximately 700 buildings would be enterable, but that figure remains unconfirmed.

The game also places significant emphasis on Jason and Lucia, its two playable protagonists, whose relationship forms a central part of the story.

Players will experience events from both characters' perspectives as they navigate the criminal world of Vice City.

Rockstar has continued highlighting the scale and detail of GTA 6 ahead of its November 19, 2026, release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
