Guns of Eschaton Release Date Confirmed for December 8, 2026

Publisher 4Divinity and developer Eschatology Entertainment have officially announced that Guns of Eschaton will launch on December 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The release date was revealed alongside a new trailer during the Galaxies Showcase, offering another look at the game's apocalyptic Western setting and Soulslike-inspired combat.

According to an official announcement from 4Divinity, Guns of Eschaton takes place in a fictional version of 19th-century America, where players encounter supernatural enemies, mysterious factions, and environments inspired by the Old West.

The game combines first-person shooting with the deliberate combat and character progression systems associated with Soulslike titles. Players must carefully manage ammunition, study enemy behavior, and adapt their strategies to overcome challenging encounters.

Character customization plays an important role, allowing players to combine firearms, different ammunition types, occult abilities, armor, and skills to develop their preferred combat style.

Guns of Eschaton also supports two-player cooperative gameplay, giving players the option to explore its dangerous world alongside a friend or complete the adventure alone.

The project was shaped by the artistic vision of the late Viktor Antonov, known for his work on Half-Life 2 and Dishonored.

A free demo is already available on Steam, allowing PC players to experience a standalone portion of the game before its December release. Pre-orders for the full version are expected to become available soon.
