HyperHEN v0.9.3 Released for PS5 With New Debug Tools
HyperHEN v0.9.3 has been released for jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles, introducing the HyperDeck dashboard, expanded debugging utilities, firmware-specific engine selection, and improvements to system stability.
Released on October 28, 2026, by MICHELE MEDIA, the update builds on v0.9.2 with changes to the homebrew environment's startup process, mounting services, and ShellUI integration.
According to the official GitHub release notes, HyperDeck brings several existing utilities into a dedicated Media dashboard, including Game Compressor, PS5 Web File Manager, CheatRunner, PS5Upload, and package management.
Advanced Debug now integrates additional tools such as Firmware Spoof, NP Fake Sign-in, NanoDNS, Chukei DNS, zFTPd/zHTTP, and Garlic Save Manager, subject to firmware compatibility.
The update also introduces engine selectors for supported older firmware versions. Certain 3.xx and 4.xx profiles can choose between PS5HEN and HyperCore, while supported 5.xx versions offer Bypervisor or HyperCore.
ShadowMountPlus 1.7 beta9 improves Automount coordination, with additional checks designed to prevent conflicting services during startup.
HyperHEN v0.9.3 also expands localized notifications and improves recovery when ShellUI is replaced following payload execution.
One important startup change requires users to close WebKit manually. The Toolbox waits until the browser process has remained closed for two continuous seconds before attaching to ShellUI.
The project lists 67 exact firmware profiles, but these were already declared in v0.9.2 and have not all undergone hardware testing.
HyperHEN remains an unofficial PS5 homebrew tool. It does not include an initial kernel exploit and requires an already jailbroken console.
