Inscryption Is Officially Coming to Mobile Devices
Inscryption is officially coming to mobile devices, bringing Daniel Mullins' acclaimed card-based adventure to smartphones five years after its original PC release.
The announcement was made on October 17, 2026, during a special livestream celebrating the game's fifth anniversary.
In an announcement shared with the Inscryption community on Reddit, the development team confirmed that a mobile version is in development, although an exact release date has not been announced.
The developers explained that their goal is to bring the complete Inscryption experience to mobile players while preserving the atmosphere, gameplay, and narrative elements that made the original game successful.
They also addressed requests for additional downloadable content, new cards, and gameplay mechanics, explaining that they consider Inscryption a complete experience and do not currently plan to expand it simply to add more content.
Originally released on October 19, 2021, Inscryption combines deck-building roguelike mechanics with escape-room puzzles and psychological horror.
Players must build card decks, manage resources, and solve environmental puzzles while uncovering the mysteries surrounding a secluded cabin.
The game later expanded beyond PC with releases on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles.
The upcoming mobile version is expected to make the adventure accessible to a wider audience, although details about touchscreen controls, pricing, and supported devices remain undisclosed.
The developers also confirmed that their main development focus remains Pony Island 2: Panda Circus.
Further information about Inscryption's mobile release will be shared at a later date.
