Kojima Productions Unveils Card With Three Unique Designs
Kojima Productions has partnered with Japanese financial company Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS to introduce a special payment card featuring three designs inspired by Hideo Kojima's game development studio.
The collaboration, originally announced during the studio's Beyond the Strand 10th anniversary event, gives fans in Japan a new way to collect exclusive Kojima Productions merchandise through everyday purchases.
According to the official Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS product page, the Kojima Productions Card operates through a prepaid payment application rather than functioning as a traditional credit card.
Users can choose from three card designs featuring the studio's distinctive visual identity. The selected design can also appear in compatible Apple Pay and Google Pay interfaces.
The payment system allows users to earn reward points through eligible purchases. These points can then be exchanged for exclusive merchandise and other rewards associated with Kojima Productions.
Among the featured rewards are a high-resolution art print signed by Hideo Kojima, special flight tags, and exclusive digital artwork.
The collaboration also includes a limited-edition Ludens-themed digital reward planned for December 2026.
Kojima Productions previously confirmed the partnership in its official Beyond the Strand announcement recap, describing plans for a Mitsubishi UFJ payment card and a merchandise redemption system connected to a smartphone application.
The product is currently aimed at customers in Japan, with no international availability announced.
The collaboration represents another expansion of the Kojima Productions brand beyond video games, offering fans exclusive collectibles through a dedicated payment service.
