Marvel Rivals Adds 50-Player PvE Mode Against Thanos

Marvel Rivals is introducing a massive new 50-player PvE mode on October 24, 2026, allowing players to team up against Thanos and his army in a battle inspired by Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame.

The upcoming mode, titled Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame, recreates the film's final confrontation at the ruined Avengers Compound, bringing dozens of Marvel heroes together in a single cooperative encounter.

NetEase Games confirmed the details in the official Marvel Rivals gameplay trailer, released on October 20.

The footage shows a giant Thanos confronting an army of superheroes, with players working together to survive his attacks and defeat the enemies surrounding him.

Unlike the game's traditional competitive matches, the new PvE activity supports up to 50 players fighting on the same side against computer-controlled opponents.

The battle also recreates recognizable moments from Avengers: Endgame, including the large-scale confrontation between Earth's heroes and Thanos' forces.

This represents a significant expansion of Marvel Rivals' cooperative content, offering a much larger player count than its previous PvE activities.

The new mode is part of the ongoing Path to Doomsday crossover content, which has introduced several Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired events throughout 2026.

NetEase has also confirmed interactive activities in Times Square to accompany the upcoming release.

However, the developer has not yet detailed every gameplay mechanic or confirmed whether the 50-player mode will remain permanently available.

Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame launches on October 24, 2026, with players able to join the battle through Marvel Rivals on supported platforms.
