Marvel's Spider-Man 3 Could Reunite Peter Parker and Miles Morales
Marvel's Spider-Man 3 could continue the interconnected stories of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, although Insomniac Games and Sony have yet to officially announce the next mainline installment.
Speculation surrounding the sequel has resurfaced following earlier comments from Peter Parker voice actor Yuri Lowenthal, who suggested that his character would remain involved in the franchise.
Speaking to The Direct in February 2025, Lowenthal confirmed that Peter would not disappear from the next chapter, despite the events of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
The previous game ended with Peter stepping away from some of his superhero responsibilities, allowing Miles to take a more prominent role in protecting New York City.
Additional speculation emerged in April 2026 when Peter Parker face model Ben Jordan reportedly shared and deleted an Instagram photograph showing himself wearing performance-capture equipment.
The image included a Spider-Man reference, prompting suggestions that work on another game might already be underway. However, the photograph did not identify a specific project.
Insomniac creative director Bryan Intihar also discussed the franchise's potential future in a 2023 interview, comparing its progression to the increasing scale of Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
These comments suggest that a future installment could feature a larger story, but they do not confirm its characters, plot structure, or gameplay.
Rumors have also mentioned a possible 2028 release, although no reliable official schedule has been announced.
For now, the possibility of Peter Parker and Miles Morales sharing another major adventure remains speculation rather than a confirmed story announcement.
