Remedy Entertainment has reportedly entered the full production phase of Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake in collaboration with Rockstar Games, with the first details about the project's cast beginning to emerge.
Following the release of Control Resonant, the Finnish studio has turned its attention to bringing back the iconic New York detective through modern remakes of the first two Max Payne games.
According to IXBT Games, Swedish actor Alec Toselli has been identified among the performers involved in motion capture for the project. Information listed on the actor's resume suggests that he has a supporting role involving motion capture work.
Although the identity of his character has not been revealed, he could potentially portray one of Max Payne's allies or enemies. However, no official details about his role have been confirmed.
Remedy has also reportedly partnered with Goodbye Kansas Studios for motion capture and visual effects production. The studio has previously collaborated with Remedy on earlier projects, making it a familiar partner for the Finnish developer.
The reported start of motion capture and performance recording suggests that the remake project has moved beyond its earlier preparation stages and into a more extensive production process.
