Metro 2039 Pre-Orders Open With New Collector's Edition

Deep Silver and 4A Games have officially opened pre-orders for Metro 2039, revealing a new trailer and details about the game's Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's Editions.

The upcoming post-apocalyptic shooter is scheduled to launch on February 4, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

According to the official Deep Silver announcement, all pre-orders include the Specialist Pack, which provides early access to three backpack upgrade blueprints: Equipment Specialist Pouch, Chemtech Specialist Pouch, and Munitions Specialist Pouch.

Players can select between these upgrades, although only one can be equipped at a time.

The Standard Edition includes the base game and pre-order bonus. Meanwhile, the Digital Deluxe Edition adds the official soundtrack, a digital art book, and a story expansion scheduled for 2027.

The physical Deluxe Edition also features an exclusive SteelBook case and a hardcover art book.

The Collector's Edition includes the Deluxe Edition content alongside a full-size, wearable replica of the Stranger's Spartan helmet.

Designed using the character's in-game 3D model, the helmet features battle damage, scratches, a movable visor, and integrated gas-mask details.

The Collector's Edition will be available in limited quantities through selected retailers.

Deep Silver also confirmed that physical console editions include a game disc, although additional downloads may be required. The physical PC edition contains a digital activation code instead of a disc.

Metro 2039 follows a former Spartan Ranger known as the Stranger as he returns to the dangerous tunnels and ruins of Moscow, where a powerful new regime threatens the remaining survivors.
