Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Reportedly Cracked Within 24 Hours

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has reportedly received an unofficial offline crack for its single-player campaign just one day after early access began, allowing some PC users to bypass the game's ownership verification system.

The development was reported on October 17, 2026, through an original post on Reddit's r/CrackWatch community, which attributes the release to a developer known as r4v3n.

According to community discussions, the release consists of a relatively small offline patch rather than a complete copy of the game. Users must already have compatible campaign files, as the patch does not include the original game data.

The reported workaround focuses specifically on the single-player experience. It does not provide access to official multiplayer servers, DMZ, or other online services.

The timing is particularly notable because Activision launched Modern Warfare 4's campaign early access on October 16, exclusively for eligible digital preorder customers.

Unlike some previous Call of Duty installments, Modern Warfare 4 reportedly includes an offline-capable campaign, which may have made this unofficial workaround easier to develop.

However, the precise technical method has not been independently documented, and its compatibility, stability, and security remain uncertain.

Modern Warfare 4 features 16 campaign missions across the Korean Peninsula, Paris, New York, and Mumbai, following two interconnected storylines involving Park Hyun Jun and Captain Price.

The game's full release is scheduled for October 23, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Neither Activision nor Infinity Ward has publicly responded to the reported offline patch.
