Monster Hunter Rise Is Coming to Android and iOS
Monster Hunter Rise is reportedly coming to Android and iOS devices, allowing mobile players to experience Capcom's popular action RPG through a Netflix subscription.
New listings on the App Store and Google Play suggest that Monster Hunter Rise is preparing to launch on smartphones and tablets. Players will need an active Netflix subscription to access the game rather than purchasing it separately.
According to Insider Gaming, the store listings have revealed plans to release a mobile version of the game. Alongside Monster Hunter Outlanders, which is reportedly scheduled for November 7, the mobile port of Monster Hunter Rise will give players another opportunity to experience the franchise on portable devices.
The mobile version has been adapted with several technical changes and improvements designed to provide a smoother experience on touchscreens.
These changes include:
- Redesigned touch controls for different weapon types, along with visual adjustments to accommodate various screen sizes.
- An automatic item recovery feature intended to help players maintain their focus during battles.
- Challenge missions and events that were previously temporary or required payment will become available as players progress through the game.
These adjustments aim to make Monster Hunter Rise more accessible on mobile devices while preserving the core gameplay experience.
Netflix has previously followed a similar release strategy with games such as Red Dead Redemption and GTA: San Andreas, allowing subscribers to access major titles on their smartphones without making a separate purchase.
With Monster Hunter Rise reportedly joining the service, Android and iOS users could soon have another well-known console game available through their Netflix membership.
