NVIDIA GeForce 621.01 Driver Adds Game Support and Fixes Crashes

NVIDIA has released its GeForce Game Ready 621.01 WHQL driver on October 21, 2026, introducing support for upcoming PC games and updates while addressing several crashes and display issues.

According to NVIDIA's official announcement, the driver is optimized for Phantom Blade Zero and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, alongside updates for Cyberpunk 2077, NBA 2K27, and Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23 with support for DLSS 4.5 and Advanced Shader Delivery, a technology designed to reduce shader compilation delays.

Phantom Blade Zero arrives on October 28 with DLSS 4.5 technologies, while Cyberpunk 2077 receives its DLSS 4.5 update on October 22.

Beyond game support, GeForce 621.01 fixes a crash in Wuthering Waves that could occur when NVIDIA Freestyle filters were enabled alongside DLSS Frame Generation.

The update also addresses crashes in Star Citizen when using the Vulkan API and in Surviving Mars: Relaunched following earlier R595 driver updates.

Several display-related issues have been resolved. These include occasional black flashes on QHD monitors running at 360Hz and frame rates unexpectedly dropping to 320 FPS on certain 360Hz G-SYNC Pulsar displays.

NVIDIA has additionally addressed USB streaming freezes affecting Meta Horizon Link and intermittent screen dimming on some ASUS laptops after installing R620 drivers.

The GeForce Game Ready 621.01 WHQL driver is available through the NVIDIA App and the official NVIDIA driver download page.

Players can review the update and check compatibility with their graphics cards before installing the new driver.
