Original Xbox Games Appear in Achievement Histories Ahead of Update

Original Xbox games have started appearing in Xbox achievement histories, suggesting Microsoft is preparing the next stage of its long-awaited achievement support for classic titles.

On October 26, 2026, players reported seeing original Xbox games in the Gaming tab of their Xbox profiles, even though those titles previously had no achievement tracking.

The newly visible entries currently display zero achievements and zero Gamerscore, meaning players cannot yet earn rewards from these listings.

Games spotted in user screenshots include Black, Ninja Gaiden Black, Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior, and Star Wars: Republic Commando.

The discovery follows Microsoft's July 22 announcement confirming that selected original Xbox games would receive achievement support on both consoles and PCs during 2026.

In its official Xbox Wire announcement, Microsoft identified Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy as the first four titles scheduled for the feature.

Those games were also introduced through Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC, bringing enhanced graphics options and support for compatible Windows handhelds.

The latest profile changes have not been accompanied by a new Microsoft announcement. It remains unclear whether the additional games will receive achievements or are simply appearing because of changes to Xbox's profile system.

Microsoft has also indicated that achievements added to older games will not unlock retroactively based on previous gameplay.

For now, the sightings provide an early indication of backend changes rather than confirmation that original Xbox achievements have officially launched.
