PEAK Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 on October 22

PEAK will officially launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026. Developers Aggro Crab and Landfall have also confirmed that the console versions will support crossplay, allowing players to climb together across different platforms.

According to PlayStation Blog, the console release will introduce cross-platform cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. This means PC users will be able to team up with friends playing on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch 2.

The developers also confirmed that the console editions will include the content updates released since the game's original PC launch, including additional environments, items, and gameplay features.

PEAK is a cooperative climbing adventure in which players control a group of scouts stranded on a mysterious island. Their goal is to reach the summit of a dangerous mountain while managing stamina, injuries, and limited resources.

Each climbing expedition presents different environmental challenges, requiring players to carefully plan their routes and help teammates overcome difficult sections. The game can be played alone or cooperatively with up to three friends.

As reported by Insider Gaming, a physical edition is also planned for PlayStation 5, with pre-orders already announced.

Originally released for PC in June 2025, PEAK will expand to three additional gaming platforms on October 22, bringing its cooperative climbing experience to a wider audience.
