PEAK Could Be Coming to PS5 After ESRB Rating

PEAK, the popular cooperative climbing game developed by Aggro Crab and Landfall Games, could be heading to PlayStation 5 after appearing in a new ESRB age rating listing.

The rating was spotted by gaming insider Wario64, suggesting that a console version of the game may be in development.

According to Push Square, PEAK has received an E10+ rating for PlayStation 5, indicating that its content is considered suitable for players aged 10 and older.

The rating includes fantasy violence, reflecting the game's cartoon-style presentation and dangerous climbing situations.

Originally released for PC in June 2025, PEAK became a major success thanks to its cooperative gameplay and unpredictable moments.

The game follows a group of scouts stranded on a mysterious island. Players must work together to climb a mountain, overcome environmental hazards, and reach the summit.

Success depends on careful stamina management, climbing equipment, and cooperation between teammates. Players can use ropes, assist one another across difficult terrain, and search for supplies during their journey.

PEAK also features a changing island layout, giving players different routes and challenges to overcome across multiple attempts.

Despite the ESRB listing, neither Aggro Crab nor Landfall Games has officially announced a PlayStation 5 release date.

Pricing, console-specific features, and potential cross-platform multiplayer support also remain unconfirmed.

For now, the age rating provides a strong indication that PEAK could be preparing to expand beyond PC.
