PlayStation Partner Awards 2026 Set for December 3

Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that the PlayStation Partner Awards 2026 Japan Asia will take place on December 3, recognizing successful PlayStation games developed across Japan and other Asian markets.

According to the official PlayStation Blog announcement, this year's ceremony will feature seven award categories, including three newly introduced honors.

The Grand Award and Partner Award will recognize games developed in Japan and Asia based on worldwide commercial performance between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026.

Sony has also introduced the Ongoing Game Award, recognizing titles supported through continued updates and events, alongside the Independent Creators' Award and PS5 Pro Integration Award.

The latter category highlights games that make effective use of PlayStation 5 Pro hardware, while the independent award recognizes notable achievements from smaller development teams across the region.

Public voting for the Players' Choice Award and Independent Creators' Award opened on October 29 and will close on November 6 at 11:59 p.m. Japan Standard Time.

The Players' Choice nominees consist of 30 games selected according to total gameplay hours in Japan and Asia. Five titles will receive the award following the public vote, while two winners will be selected from nine independent nominees.

The ceremony marks the 32nd edition of the awards, which originally began in 1995.

Sony confirmed that the winners will be announced through the official PlayStation website and PlayStation Blog on December 3. No livestream of the ceremony is planned.
