Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble Has Been Released for Android and iOS
Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble has officially launched worldwide for Android and iOS devices. French studio Oh Bibi, in collaboration with PlayStation, developed the multiplayer shooter based on the popular Ratchet & Clank series from Insomniac Games, bringing some of the franchise's familiar characters and gameplay to mobile devices.
According to IXBT Games, the global launch follows a limited release period in several regions. Players in most countries around the world can now experience the game. Its story revolves around Captain Qwark, who has launched a battle simulator in search of a new generation of Galactic Rangers.
During matches, players can choose from a variety of characters, each with unique abilities and weapons, and compete across six different game modes. These include Battle Royale, 3v3 team battles, and PvPvE matches, where players must fight other participants for resources while also dealing with monsters and powerful enemies.
The different modes are designed to offer a mixture of competitive and cooperative elements. Depending on the match, players may need to focus on defeating rival teams, collecting resources, or surviving threats found throughout the environment.
The roster in Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble combines familiar faces from the long-running franchise with completely new Lombaxes, robots, and aliens. The game aims to recreate the fast-paced combat style associated with Ratchet & Clank while adapting its controls and mechanics for smartphone touch screens.
With its global release, mobile players can now experience a new take on the Ratchet & Clank universe built around multiplayer battles and a variety of playable characters.
