Riders Republic Gets Offline Mode and Switch 2 Release Date

Ubisoft has announced that Riders Republic will receive a new offline mode on December 9, 2026, the same day the extreme sports game launches on Nintendo Switch 2.

The announcement is part of the game's fifth-anniversary celebrations, introducing several improvements and limited-time events for existing players.

According to Ubisoft's official announcement, the new feature, called Nomad Mode, will allow players to explore the game's open world and enjoy most of its content without an internet connection.

However, certain online features will remain unavailable while playing offline, including multiplayer activities, the in-game store, seasonal progression, sponsor challenges, and community-created events.

Progress earned in Nomad Mode will synchronize with online saves once players reconnect to the internet.

The update will be available across all supported platforms, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will arrive alongside it on December 9.

Ubisoft also confirmed that Riders Republic is receiving Steam Deck Verified status, making the game more accessible to handheld PC players.

To celebrate the anniversary, Ubisoft is offering a free trial period from October 22 to October 26, alongside discounts of up to 90% on selected editions.

Additional celebrations include crossover content inspired by Assassin's Creed, Rayman, and The Crew Motorfest, as well as special in-game activities and Twitch rewards.

Originally released in 2021, Riders Republic features an open-world playground where players compete in mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, and other extreme sports.

The introduction of offline play represents a significant addition for players who prefer exploring the game's world without relying on a constant internet connection.
