Sonic Generations Reportedly Recreated Inside Roblox

Sonic Generations is attracting renewed attention on Roblox following a social media post suggesting that Sega's platforming game has been recreated within the user-generated gaming platform.

The footage was shared through a post by @RealSun_Lando on X, raising questions about how closely the Roblox experience reproduces the original Sonic Generations.

Roblox already hosts a fan-made experience called Sonic Generations Project Revival, developed by Tails Team Roblox Official. Its description identifies the project as an attempt to bring elements of Sonic Generations into Roblox.

The experience includes movement controls associated with modern Sonic gameplay, including Boost, Quickstep, Stomp, and Drift. Its developers have also listed additional stages, cutscenes, and online functionality among their planned features.

However, Project Revival predates the latest social media discussion, and its connection to the newly circulated footage has not been established.

Describing the project as a complete port would also require technical verification. A recreation made with Roblox's development tools is different from transferring the original Sonic Generations executable and engine to another platform.

The recent footage has not been independently inspected, leaving its creator, exact development status, and playable content unconfirmed.

Sega has not announced an official Roblox version of Sonic Generations, and no partnership with the reported project's creator has been established.

For now, the footage represents an intriguing but unverified claim about a Roblox recreation rather than confirmation of a complete native port.
