Space Marine 2 Developer Working on New AAA FPS in Unreal Engine 5
Saber Interactive, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, is developing an unannounced AAA first-person shooter using Unreal Engine 5, according to a newly identified job listing.
The project is being developed within an established fictional universe, with the company recruiting experienced developers for its St. Petersburg team.
A Senior Narrative Designer job listing published by Saber Interactive on October 14, 2026, confirms that the upcoming game is a major FPS project built with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5.
The position involves overseeing the game's narrative direction and working closely with design and writing teams to integrate storytelling into gameplay.
Saber is also seeking candidates with strong knowledge of modern PvPvE multiplayer shooters, suggesting that competitive and cooperative gameplay systems are important to the project.
Additional recruitment listings reference an unannounced AAA multiplayer shooter, including positions focused on gameplay systems, progression, and level design.
The discovery follows Saber Interactive's previously announced partnership with Hasbro, revealed in February 2025.
That agreement involves developing a major game based on one of Hasbro's established entertainment franchises, although neither company has identified the intellectual property involved.
However, Saber has not confirmed whether the newly identified Unreal Engine 5 shooter is connected to its Hasbro collaboration or represents a separate project.
The studio is currently working on several major productions, including licensed games and original projects.
No official title, release window, or supported platforms have been announced for the new FPS.
