The Blood of Dawnwalker Update 1.1 Adds Respec and 1,100 Fixes

Rebel Wolves has revealed the major features coming to The Blood of Dawnwalker Update 1.1, including skill resets, a new difficulty option, animal petting, and more than 1,100 improvements and fixes.

According to the developer's official announcement on X, the update is scheduled to arrive next week on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

One of the biggest additions is the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new item that allows players to reset their Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism abilities and invest their previously spent time into different skills.

The update also introduces the ability to pet dogs and cats through a directional interaction system inspired by the game's combat mechanics.

For players interested primarily in the story, Rebel Wolves is adding a new Story difficulty with additional combat assistance. The existing Story difficulty will be renamed Forgiving.

Accessibility improvements include adjustable subtitle font sizes and an option to display subtitles for all dialogue.

Update 1.1 will also improve combat targeting, enemy lock-on behavior, and the ability to disengage from fights. Camera animations and movements during combat are being adjusted.

Traversal abilities such as Shadowstep and Planeshift will receive responsiveness improvements, while Frame Generation technology will gain updated functionality and dedicated settings.

Additionally, the Japanese Steam version will no longer censor blood and gore.

Rebel Wolves says the patch includes more than 1,100 additional fixes and improvements, making it one of the game's most substantial updates since launch.

An exact release date has not yet been announced.
