The Wolf Among Us Remastered Delayed on Nintendo Switch

The Wolf Among Us Remastered has officially been delayed on Nintendo Switch, with developer Telltale Games confirming that the updated adventure will no longer launch on Nintendo's console on October 29, 2026.

The delay was announced on October 16 through an official statement from Telltale Games on X, explaining that the development team needs additional time to deliver a polished experience for Nintendo Switch players.

The company confirmed that the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC versions remain scheduled for October 29, meaning the delay currently affects only the Nintendo Switch release.

Telltale emphasized that bringing The Wolf Among Us to Nintendo's platform for the first time is an important milestone for the studio. The team wants to ensure that players receive an experience that meets its quality expectations.

However, the developer has not announced a replacement release date. Telltale said it would share updated timing as soon as more information becomes available.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered was originally announced for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with Xbox Series X|S compatibility also supported.

The remastered edition includes all five episodes of the original adventure, featuring improved lighting, updated character models, enhanced animations, remastered audio, and additional behind-the-scenes content.

One of its new features is Noir Mode, which allows players to experience the entire story in black and white, recreating the atmosphere of a classic detective film.

Originally released in 2013, The Wolf Among Us follows Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, as he investigates a mysterious case involving characters from fairy tales and folklore.

For now, the October 29 launch remains unchanged for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, while Nintendo Switch players must wait for a new release date.
