The Wolf Among Us Remastered Free Demo Arrives on Steam

Telltale Games has introduced a free demo for The Wolf Among Us Remastered on Steam, giving PC players an opportunity to experience Bigby Wolf's detective adventure before the full game's release on October 29, 2026.

According to reports about the demo, it includes the complete first episode, Faith, rather than a short gameplay preview. Players can explore Fabletown, meet its residents, and investigate the opening mystery without purchasing the full game.

The demo is associated with the game's official Steam store page, where players can also review its features and upcoming release details.

The remastered edition revisits Telltale's acclaimed narrative adventure, originally released in 2013 and inspired by DC's Fables comic series.

Players take control of Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown, as he investigates a series of mysterious events involving characters from fairy tales and folklore.

According to Telltale's official announcement, the remaster introduces improved lighting, updated animations, refined environments, and enhanced audio.

One of its biggest additions is Noir Mode, allowing players to switch between the remastered visuals and a black-and-white presentation inspired by classic detective films.

The complete edition also includes all five original episodes, behind-the-scenes interviews, concept artwork, and previously unreleased material, including playable deleted scenes.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches digitally on October 29, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, with backward compatibility on Xbox Series X|S.
