UFC 5 PS5 Emulator Runs at Up to 55 FPS on RTX 4080 PC

EA Sports UFC 5 has reportedly reached up to 55 FPS on PC through the experimental PlayStation 5 emulator KytyPS5, using an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor.

The performance demonstration was shared by the Unreal Gaming PC YouTube channel, showcasing the PS5 version of the fighting game running on Windows through an unofficial emulator.

According to the original gameplay discussion shared on Reddit, the test uses a modified KytyPS5 build developed by Cozmaaa.

The reported test system features an RTX 4080, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and 64GB of DDR5 memory, with a PlayStation DualSense controller used for gameplay.

Performance reportedly fluctuates between 45 and 55 FPS during certain sequences, although demanding scenes can cause drops to approximately 10–15 FPS.

The demonstration also shows graphical glitches, missing visual effects, and occasional stuttering, highlighting the emulator's experimental development status.

Some interruptions may be associated with shader compilation, although the precise causes of the performance drops have not been independently established.

The KytyPS5 development team previously confirmed that UFC 5 had reached an in-game state in early October 2026.

However, reaching gameplay does not mean the title is fully compatible or stable throughout its entire campaign and gameplay modes.

KytyPS5 remains an unofficial, open-source PlayStation 5 emulator designed to run compatible games on PC.

The project continues to receive compatibility improvements, but the UFC 5 demonstration should be considered an early technical experiment rather than a fully playable PC release.
