UFC 5 Runs on PC With KytyPS5 Emulator and RTX 5080
UFC 5 has reportedly been tested on PC using the KytyPS5 emulator, with a new gameplay demonstration showing the PlayStation 5 fighting game running on a system equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080.
The test, attributed to Reddit user Digital_Deebo, reportedly used an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 4K display resolution.
While the demonstration suggests further progress in PS5 emulation, performance remains inconsistent, and the game has not yet reached a stable 60 FPS.
The reported tester performed an initial shader compilation run before recording gameplay to reduce stuttering during the demonstration.
The official KytyPS5 development update independently confirms that UFC 5 reached the in-game stage in early October 2026, following improvements to shader control flow and rendering.
However, reaching gameplay does not mean the title is fully playable from beginning to end without technical problems.
The emulator remains under development, and players may encounter graphical artifacts, crashes, and significant performance differences depending on their hardware.
Community discussions have also highlighted experimental progress involving NHL 26 and NHL 27, although performance results from separate emulator builds should not be treated as directly comparable.
UFC 5 remains a console-exclusive release without an official Windows version, making these early emulation experiments particularly interesting for PC players.
KytyPS5's continued development could improve compatibility over time, but there is currently no confirmed timeline for stable 60 FPS gameplay.
