Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection PC Port Gets New Update
The unofficial PC port of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has received version 0.3.5, introducing native keyboard and Xbox controller button prompts alongside graphical improvements across all three games.
Developer zorde23 released the update on October 23, allowing Windows players to replace PlayStation button icons with their configured keyboard keys or Xbox controller buttons directly within the games' menus and interface.
According to the official GitHub release notes, the feature works across Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Players can select their preferred icons through the launcher's Controls menu before restarting the game.
Version 0.3.5 also fixes red bloom artifacts in Uncharted 3 and brings improvements to shadows, lighting, and fog rendering in the first two games.
Additional changes include an experimental workaround for a crash affecting Uncharted 1 on certain PC configurations.
The developer reports that Uncharted 3 can be completed from beginning to end at 1080p and 60 FPS without upscaling or frame generation. However, demanding areas can still cause performance drops to approximately 50 FPS.
Uncharted 2 is also playable, while the original Uncharted remains experimental and has received less extensive testing.
The project uses a compatibility layer that runs the original PS4 executable on Windows while translating graphics operations through Vulkan.
Players must provide their own legally obtained PS4 game files, as the project does not distribute copyrighted game content.
This remains an unofficial community project, with no involvement from Sony, Naughty Dog, or Bluepoint Games.
