Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines Remaster Reportedly in Development

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines could be getting a remaster more than two decades after its original release, according to new claims circulating online.

The speculation began after a Reddit user reported attending a Genitorturers concert in Brooklyn on October 15, 2026. According to the attendee, the industrial metal band suggested that a new version of the original Bloodlines was being developed.

Genitorturers has a connection to the 2004 RPG, with its song Lecher Bitch appearing on the game's soundtrack.

The claim first appeared in an original Reddit discussion about the concert, where the attendee described the band's alleged comments.

However, the initial report referred to a remake rather than a remaster, creating uncertainty about the nature of the rumored project.

A second Reddit user subsequently claimed that the game was indeed being revisited, but clarified that it would be a remaster with certain unspecified changes.

The individual shared the information in a separate post on GamingLeaksAndRumours, claiming previous knowledge of other gaming projects, including the setting of Forza Horizon 6.

Neither claim has been independently confirmed by the companies involved.

Originally developed by Troika Games and published by Activision in 2004, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines became a cult classic thanks to its branching dialogue, vampire clans, and atmospheric portrayal of Los Angeles.

The game also developed a lasting modding community that continued addressing technical problems and restoring content after its release.

At present, no developer, platforms, release window, or technical improvements have been announced for the rumored remaster.

Until an official announcement is made, the possibility of a Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines remaster should be treated as unverified.
