Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Reportedly Hits 15M Players
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has reportedly reached 15 million players worldwide, marking another major milestone for the third-person action game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment.
According to a new report citing a social media announcement from Focus Entertainment, the publisher thanked the community for its continued support since the game's launch in September 2024.
The reported milestone follows the previously confirmed achievement of 12 million players in April 2026, suggesting that Space Marine 2 has continued attracting new audiences more than two years after release.
Available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the game follows Lieutenant Demetrian Titus as he battles Tyranid swarms and the forces of Chaos in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Players can experience the story through a solo campaign or three-player cooperative gameplay, alongside dedicated PvE Operations and competitive PvP modes.
Saber Interactive has continued expanding the experience through free updates, introducing additional missions, weapons, challenges, and customization options.
The developer also outlined its third-year content plans in the official September community update, including new gameplay features and an Apothecary class planned for early 2027.
Importantly, the reported 15 million figure refers to the total player count rather than confirmed copies sold. It does not establish how many players remain active or how the audience is distributed across platforms.
The latest milestone has yet to be independently verified through a directly accessible official announcement.
